My name is Jamie Perry. I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes on November 13, 1995, at just 14 month old. I’m 25 years old and I live in Connecticut. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Performing Arts Management from The Hartt School and the University of Hartford. I work as a Training Coordinator at Yale University.
I am a lifelong advocate for JDRF, fundraising over $100,000 for Walk to Cure Diabetes and serving as a Youth Ambassador, participating in the Promise to Remember Me Campaign, and serving as a 2011 Children’s Congress Delegate for the state of Connecticut. Since 2019, I have been recognized as a Dexcom Warrior.
